Boot Camp Food Advice

Would you ever consider having a glass of fat?

No, we are not crazy, neither is this a joke. Recent research has demonstrated that having a fairly easy take away meal is the same as having a good glass full of, you guessed it, pure filthy fat.

Ethnic meals may appear a good idea for dinner, however each time you eat Chinese for instance – a typical menu consisting of crispy duck, chicken balls and spring rolls – you are eating much more than you would imagine. That equals, actually, to just under 3,000 calories (a lot more than what the typical man’s every day consumption should be) or around 130 gr of fat.

You don’t have to be a diet professional, a fitness trainer or even a boot camp expert to realise how incorrect that is. In Britain, it’s been calculated that more than one in three people eat take-away meals at least two times a week. And whilst all the ectomorphes out there need not to worry, for all the others that might not be great news.

Take-away meals (or, at this point, should it just be called ‘junk food’) is fine for the sporadic treat, but it should not become a regular habit. Individuals who practise all kinds of sports and exercises are doing what’s right, but many of them are not aware of the fact that by consuming the wrong kind of food after practising, they’re just doing more damage than good.

Enjoy your green salad this evening. (And no sauce for you!)
